• What if I find a bid lower than what Defender Roofing provided?

  Verify that you're receiving a reasonable cost for the work. We communicate pricing information with insurance providers on a regular basis and keep them informed on current price patterns. As a result, insurance companies conduct their own studies to ensure they are receiving the best possible prices for repairs and replacements.

  In order to insure that you are compensated fairly, the insurance company requires that you use a skilled contractor who can replace damages in a timely manner, communication effectively during the work process, and  alleviates any concerns with billing or warrants. In most cases, insurance is adequate to pay for a competent contractor to provide adequate service to its customers.

• Is an upfront payment necessary to begin the work?

  When working with insurance payouts, there are no deposits required. A payment equal to the real cash value and deductible is due once a roof has been substantially completed. The final payment is not expected to arrive until all of your insurance compensation has been received. Until the job is finished, you will not be required to pay anything under a cash contract.
